SEATTLE, WA...March 2, 2009...Solid State Records and Demon Hunter present the world premiere of the band's music video for the single "Collapsing" exclusively on MySpace as a part of the official "50 Days of Demon Hunter" online campaign.
The video was filmed in Pittsburgh, PA by Endeavor Media (Anberlin, Owl City) and features Bjorn "Speed" Strid of Swedish death metal band Soilwork, who contributes guest vocals to the song.
"We're all huge Soilwork Fans so this was an honor for us," says Demon Hunter vocalist Ryan Clark. "Speed was on a very short wishlist of ours for guys that we would want to have do vocals on the record so we were really, really excited when he agreed to do it."
"Collapsing" is the lead single from Demon Hunter's upcoming album THE WORLD IS A THORN and is available for download now on iTunes and Amazon MP3.
THE WORLD IS A THORN will be released in stores and online March 9th. The album will be available as both a Regular Edition and Deluxe Box Edition and can be pre-ordered now at iTunes, Best Buy, Amazon as well as the Demon Hunter Webstore.

About Demon Hunter:
Demon Hunter is an anomaly in today's heavy music scene, jettisoning fashionable trends and easily recognizable cliches in favor of traditional heavy metal power and melodic hooks. THE WORLD IS A THORN recalls the best of the genre's past while pushing the envelope forward at the same time. The album follows previous studio albums STORM THE GATES OF HELL (2007), THE TRIPTYCH (2005), SUMMER OF DARKNESS (2004) and DEMON HUNTER (2002), as well as the live album and three-disc CD / DVD set 45 DAYS, which have sold close to a combined half a million copies.
Demon Hunter is Ryan Clark (vocals), Jonathan Dunn (bass), Yogi Watts (drums), Patrick Judge (guitar) and Ryan Helm (guitar).
